it's just not Independence Day without fireworks so we picked up an
assortment
that morning, and set them off in the middle of the backyard.
We had
a number of bottle
rockets, hence the Seagrams Gin bottle as a launch pad. The
rockets
moved way too fast for me to catch them, so they're not pictured here.
We
spent about an hour
and a half setting these off, all the time hoping they wouldn't spook
the
chickens enough to stop them from laying... We got lucky!
